Cap Junky, the hype cross with the floral signature

Cap Junky is one of the most talked-about crosses of the current era, widely credited as Alien Cookies x Kush Mints from a collaboration between two of the best-known names in modern breeding. Ours grows in our own rooms, and its panels carry an unusual signature: linalool.

What it is

The accepted pedigree, Alien Cookies crossed with Kush Mints, put Cap Junky on every hype list of its generation. Reputation travels faster than chemistry, though, and what a cut actually does depends on who grows it. This one is ours, seed to shelf, so the panels below describe our rooms, not a stranger's.

What our lab panels show

The current 3.5g flower prepack tests 27.7% THC, the strongest flower figure in this guide series, with limonene, caryophyllene, and linalool packed within a tenth of a percent of each other. The concentrates make the signature obvious: linalool leads the shatter outright at 1.19% and rides 1.2-1.4% in the TRENDI badder, while the Medizin live rosin goes limonene-first at 3.1% with linalool close behind. Linalool is the lavender terpene, rare at the top of any cannabis panel, and it gives Cap Junky a floral roundness most gas crosses do not have. Chemotypes wander hybrid to indica by format, so read the badge per batch.

What that means for you
