Seed to sale
Most dispensaries buy what they sell. Planet 13 grows it, trims it by hand, makes it, tests it, and sells it, the whole chain under one roof and held to one standard. Vertical integration is not just a supply-chain story for us. It is how we keep a premium product premium at every single step.
Cultivation
It starts in our own grow, where we control the genetics, the environment, and the timing. Dialed-in light, climate, and feeding let each plant reach its full potential before it is ever cut. When the people selling the flower are the people who grew it, nothing about it is a guess.
Harvest and hand-trim
This is where corners usually get cut, and where we refuse to. We hand-trim our flower; we do not machine-tumble it. Tumblers are faster and cheaper, but they bruise the bud and knock off the trichomes, the tiny resin glands that carry most of the aroma and potency. Hand-trimming preserves the structure, the frost, and the character of every bud. It is slower, it costs more, and it is worth it.
Cure and storage
After a careful cure, flower is stored in conditions built to protect it. Temperature, humidity, and light are controlled so the terpenes and freshness you paid for are still there when you open the jar, not faded on a shelf.
Extraction and production
Our in-house production turns that flower into concentrates, vapes, edibles, and pre-rolls under our own family of brands. When we reintroduce terpenes, we use cannabis-derived terpenes, or CDT, the real terpenes pulled from cannabis itself, never the cheaper botanical or foreign terpenes that other brands borrow from unrelated plants. That is why our vapes and concentrates taste and smell like the actual strain, not a generic approximation.
Lab testing
Every cannabis product sold in Nevada is tested by state-licensed labs. A certificate of analysis, or COA, reports the cannabinoid content and terpene profile and screens for contaminants such as pesticides, residual solvents, and microbials. The numbers you see on our menu come from that testing, not a guess.
Why this matters to you
- Premium quality: hand-trimmed flower and cannabis-derived terpenes, top to bottom.
- True flavor: what you taste is the strain itself, not a borrowed imitation.
- Consistency: the product you liked is the same product next time.
- Freshness: a short, controlled path from canopy to counter.
- Accountability: one company stands behind all of it.
You are buying from the people who grew it, trimmed it by hand, and made it. That is the whole point of asking a grower instead of a middleman.
