Face on Fire #9, the fire name with a chamomile secret

The #9 in the name marks this as a numbered phenotype selection, the ninth expression of a cross our cultivation team kept. The panels hide a joke the name did not intend: under the caryophyllene heat sits bisabolol, the terpene chamomile tea is known for.

What it is

A pheno-hunted house cut (that is what a #-number means: growers pop many seeds of one cross and keep the standout individuals). We print no pedigree for the cross itself; the selection work is ours and so are the panels.

What our lab panels show

The live resin tests caryophyllene 1.32% with linalool and bisabolol at 0.85% and 0.68%, a straight indica grade at 61 mg/g total terpenes; the cured resin holds the same trio. The pre-roll runs caryophyllene over myrcene at 21.4% THC, indica again. Bisabolol rarely cracks a top-three anywhere; here it does twice, and its soft, floral-honey character is exactly what rounds this strain's edge off.

What that means for you

Expect warm and settling rather than actually fiery: the caryophyllene brings the spice the name promises, and the chamomile terpene tucks it in. One of the better picks in the garden for an unhurried evening. The terpene guide covers the supporting cast.
