GG4, the caryophyllene benchmark we grow ourselves

GG4 is the strain the world met as Gorilla Glue #4 before a trademark fight shortened the name: the accepted lineage is Chem's Sister x Sour Dubb x Chocolate Diesel, and its calling card has always been sheer stickiness and gas. We grow it in-house, and our panels back the legend.

What it is

GG4 is one of the last decade's defining strains, a multiple award winner whose resin production made "glue" a menu vocabulary word. The renaming story is real trademark history, not marketing. It is also one of the classics that still earns its shelf space here, because we cultivate it ourselves rather than buying the name in.

What our lab panels show

Caryophyllene leads every current GG4 panel, and not by a little. The Medizin live rosin tests 110 mg/g total terpenes, among the richest panels in the store, with caryophyllene at 3.17% over limonene 2.4% and myrcene 1.7%; the live-resin badder reads caryophyllene 2.76%; even the 1g pre-roll keeps caryophyllene on top at 0.87%. Chemotypes run hybrid to indica-hybrid to indica across formats. Caryophyllene is the pepper-spice terpene, the one your grinder smells like heat: profiles built on it read as gas with weight.

What that means for you

If you shop by feel, GG4 is the heavy end of our house line: dense, peppery, unsubtle in the best way.
