At Best in Grass Nevada 2025, the Medizin Orange Tahoe Live Resin Badder took First Place in the solvent concentrate category, judged anonymously at home by everyday consumers. Unusually for an award winner, the winning format is on the menu right now, panel and all.

What it is

Orange Tahoe pairs a citrus top with Tahoe OG heritage in its name; the exact cross circulates in more than one version, so we state none as fact. It is grown, frozen, and extracted under one roof here, and its house line currently spans flower, a pre-roll, and the award-category badder.

What our lab panels show

Terpinolene leads every current Orange Tahoe panel, which is rare consistency for the rarest major terpene. The badder, the award's own format, tests terpinolene 3.36% over myrcene with 77 mg/g total terpenes and a sativa-hybrid chemotype; the 7g flower prepack reads terpinolene 0.84% with a straight sativa grade at 22% THC; the 1g pre-roll keeps the same shape. Terpinolene's sweet-herbal brightness with a myrcene undertone is the strain's signature, and the citrus in the name is honest about how it reads.
