White Truffle, the savory one that tests bright

White Truffle earned its name from a savory, almost umami nose, and its accepted story is a selected cut of Gorilla Butter that took on a life of its own. Ours grows in our own cultivation, and the panels hold a small surprise: it keeps testing bright.

What it is

White Truffle rode the same wave that made garlic-and-funk profiles fashionable, and most tellings trace it to a Gorilla Butter phenotype. As always, the pedigree is the accepted story rather than a lab fact; the savory reputation, though, is what people come for, which makes our panels worth a careful read.

What our lab panels show

The chemotypes lean SATIVA across our current line, which surprises people who expect funk to mean heavy. The Medizin live-resin cart tests 83.5% THC with limonene way out front at 3.97% and 70 mg/g total terpenes; the badders flip it caryophyllene-first at 1.8-1.95% with humulene, the hops terpene, unusually prominent; and the 1g pre-roll reads caryophyllene over limonene with a straight sativa chemotype. That caryophyllene-humulene undertone is where the savory nose lives; the limonene on top is why the experience reads brighter than the name suggests.
