Lemon Cherry Gelato strain: what the lab panels show
Lemon Cherry Gelato, LCG for short, is by reputation a gelato-family strain credited to Backpack Boyz, its parentage told several ways, and on Planet 13's Las Vegas superstore shelf it comes from STIIIZY and Claybourne in three formats whose panels split: linalool leads the STIIIZY flower, limonene the STIIIZY live-resin vape.
What it is
A hugely popular name with an unsettled origin. Its story credits Backpack Boyz and names more than one parentage, Gelato grown from a stray seed among them; each places it in the Gelato family. The name is popular enough to be thought to cover more than one cut. That is reputation, not a lab fact.
What the panels on the Las Vegas superstore's shelf show
Linalool and limonene are on all four panels. The STIIIZY 3.5g flower leads with linalool at 0.71%, ahead of a near tie of limonene 0.48% and myrcene 0.46% (23 mg/g total, indica). The STIIIZY live-resin all-in-one (hybrid) turns it around, limonene 0.78% over linalool 0.64%, then a near tie of myrcene 0.49% and terpinolene 0.47%, a terpene the flower's panel does not report at all. Claybourne Co.'s Frosted Flyers pack leads with caryophyllene at 0.96% (26 mg/g, indica-hybrid); its Diamond Flyers pack, linalool-first, carries 44.4% THC but only 6 mg/g of terpenes, under the 8 mg/g our classifier needs to grade a panel. THC reads 27.9% in the flower, 34.1% and 44.4% in the infused packs, 82.9% in the all-in-one.
What that means for you
The STIIIZY flower and vape share a name and a brand yet order their terpenes differently: one name is not one panel. And more THC is no promise of more terpenes, as the two Claybourne packs show. Read the panel, then the grade, on the five-class spectrum.
Shopping it here
On the Las Vegas superstore's shelf, Lemon Cherry Gelato currently runs a STIIIZY 3.5g flower prepack and .95g live resin liquid diamonds all-in-one, plus Claybourne Co.'s Frosted Flyers and Diamond Flyers, two .5g infused pre-roll three-packs. A search on the menu may also show Flight Bites Lemon Cherry Gelato rosin gummies, an edible sold under that name and not counted in the panels above.
Lab figures are from our committed menu snapshot and change batch to batch; the product page always shows the current panel. Effects vary by person; nothing here is medical advice. For use only by adults 21 and older.
